Seriously, where does the time go? I have taken almost an entire year off from this blog, something that I was so excited about last winter. So much has changed, so much has happened. We decided to move. I ran a half-marathon. I participated in The Sketchbook Project sponsored by the Brooklyn Art Library and The Art House Co-op. (which I will have a posting about later). I saw some dear friends get married. I watched my baby sister turn 18. My parents moved back to the West Side of Akron after 17 years in Tallmadge. I had the perfect white Christmas. So as you see, the time just flew by (as it always does), and like one of the many partially read books on my shelf, this blog was pushed to the way side, left unfinished, and lonely. Sounds so sad! But with my recent and forthcoming life events, I feel this would be a good time to start it up again!
In about a month, I will be moving with my husband to Alexandria, VA. We are going in search of new opportunities and adventures (mostly of the job variety). We have always wanted to live in a bigger city, and fortunately we have wonderful friends who are supporting us through this, and helping to make our dream a reality. So my husband and I have saved our money, are quitting our jobs, packin' up, and moving on. Taking chances is what life is all about!
So, yeah--- that's where I am right now. It is truly a crazy time! But I really want to keep this blog going, so all questions, comments, and concerns are always welcome, encouraged, and appreciated!!!!! And if anyone has any ideas, please send them my way!!!

ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about slacking on the blog, I was writing for 200 and some days straight and then became busy nonstop and now I'm back at blogging too (and planning my wedding!) Keep in touch, I want to hear about VA!
